The organization is supporting 10 students from economically poor background who are brilliant academically and wanted to answer IAS examinations. They have been linked to New Vision IAS academy in Nagpur, which is a successful UPSC/IAS coaching institute.
The Sahyadri Foundation in association with Equitas Microfinance Trust, Nagpur has offered skill development training to about 1854 self-group members in the city to enable them to take up self-employment ventures.
Under the RNTCP scheme, the organization has conducted various effective IEC programs to disseminate information about TB and HIV through group meetings, awareness campaigns, distribution of informative pamphlets and street plays.

This project is implemented by Sahyadri Foundation since March 2013 with the technical and financial support of MSACS – Mumbai for migrants coming in search of employment to Nagpur’s two major industrial hubs, MIHAN SEZ and Butibori MIDCs.
The Organization has been selected as NLM for monitoring of 07 programs being implemented by the MoRD. Successful monitoring assignments have been undertaken in Karnataka State. The basic premise of appointing NLM by the Ministry is to involve third party independent monitors so that unbiased and objective monitoring can be achieved.
The objective of this scheme was to train and provide placement to candidates belonging to BPL categories from rural districts of Maharashtra and Chhatisgarh. At present a preliminary survey has been done to identify and select eligible youth for this placement linked training.
This was a tree plantation program conducted with the support of Sakal Foundation, a wing of Sakal Media. Hundreds of saplings were for free were distributed and planted and awareness was spread amongst people about the harm caused by cutting down trees.
Under MoRDs’ SGSY scheme, 25 unemployed youth from Nagpur rural, Gadchiroli and Gondia districts under BPL categories were linked to Sunil Hitech Engineers Pvt. Ltd for being trained in employable skills such as electrical, fitter, welder, rigger, assistant mason, scaffolding holder, bar benders etc.
This is a social welfare scheme of the State Government to provide housing for SC, ST, Neo – Buddhists residing under the limits of Nagpur Municipal Council. Under this scheme, the shortlisted beneficiary receives financial assistance and the house is allotted in the name of the woman or jointly between husband and wife. The construction of the house is the sole responsibility of the beneficiary themselves and engagement of contractors is strictly prohibited.
This project is implemented by Sahyadri Foundation since June 2014 with the technical and financial support of MSACS – Mumbai in 100 villages of Nagpur District rural. It is big budget and having on payroll staffs of 47 persons. The aims of the project is to assess the nature of HRGs, migrants, truckers, MSM, FSW etc, how they are organized, assess the nature of high risk behaviours and safe behaviours, assess variations in level of their awareness on HIV-AIDS.
